Horse Drawn Carriage & Sleigh Rides

We offer year-round carriage and sleigh rides for groups of up to 12 people. These approximately 45 minute rides either travel the photogenic Borough Road or follow farm trails.

All carriage and sleigh rides must be booked in advance through our booking calendar. Please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes before your ride is scheduled to begin to allow time to find the farm and park. You will also have time to meet and pet the horses before your ride begins. We will provide blankets as needed, but please dress for the weather!

Price

Carriage and sleigh rides cost $150 per 45 minute ride. A $50 deposit is due via credit card or Venmo (@longviewfarmnh) at booking and the remaining $100 is due via cash, check, or Venmo (@longviewfarmnh) on the day of your ride.

How It Works:

  • 1. Book your ride and pay your deposit

    Please book your carriage or sleigh ride through our booking calendar. You will also be asked to securely pay a $50 deposit at this time.

  • 2. Wait for your confirmation

    We will reach out to you by phone or text once we receive your booking and deposit. Once you hear from us, your booking will be official.

  • 3. Pay your balance and enjoy your ride!

    When you arrive for your scheduled ride you will pay the remaining $100 by cash, check, or Venmo. Then you’ll have time to visit with the horses and enjoy your ride!

Carriage and Sleigh Ride FAQ

  • Yes! All rides need to be booked in advance through our booking calendar.

  • No, we do not usually mix groups so when you book the ride you reserve the entire vehicle.

    Our carriage and sleigh rides can accommodate up to 12 people in your group.

  • Please follow the signs to park along the farm’s smaller, secondary driveway which is a left turn up off of the paved road. Parking will be on the right, past the high tunnel and garden.

  • Deposits are only refunded in cases of cancellation due to weather or unforeseen farm emergencies. We typically go out in any weather except for extreme ice or rain events.

  • Yes! You will have time to meet the horses, pet them, and take photos before your ride begins.

  • You are welcome to take pictures and explore the farm on your own before and after your scheduled ride.
